Gate posts
We only use the highest quality UK-grown Redwood for all our posts. This timber is then Kiln Dried to below 20% so it can be treated correctly to Use Class 4 treatment levels. Only timber that is both from the correct species and kiln dried can achieve this treatment level.
In all instances, the gate post should be set at least 2 ft into the ground,depending on size of gate in a suitable concrete footing , (postcrete).
